Problem:
I have published a website yesterday, everything was working fine. This morning, when i was browsing options in Joomla Admin Panel, i saw something about SSL encryption, if i'm not wrong.. it was asking me to protect a section of the website, then i selected Administrator. then everything blpphghhh! now what i get is:
Secure Connection Failed
An error occurred during a connection to doatr.com.
SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.
(Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long)
* The page you are trying to view can not be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
* Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem. Alternatively, use the command found in the help menu to report this broken site.
at least i'm thanful that web site is working anyways ^^
btw, this option was in global configuration.
now, how can i fix it? any ideas? thanks.
P.S: Cpanel is used..
Solution:
In configuration.php find var $force_ssl and make it var $force_ssl = '';
